The 39th Sketchcrawl, but second for Toulouse, was a real achievement. This april 13th was a warm and sunny springtime day and more at least 15 sketchers (twice more than the first time) met to draw in the "pink city" (appelation due to the color of the brick walls).
The group went up to the top floor of an awful concrete car park situated in the middle of the historical town center to draw the outstanding view : the old tile roofs bristled with chimneys, towers or turrets and, with the snowy Pyrenees peaks at the background. In the afternoon, we wandered at the jardin des plantes, the museum gardens, to enjoy the sun in a green case.
Ce deuxième Sketchcrawl toulousain fut une journée exceptionnelle de beau temps qui a vu le groupe s'étoffer un peu. Nous avions rendez-vous dans le quartier des Carmes où la journée a commencé par une vue panoramique sur les toits de la ville, depuis l'affreux parking, avec les Pyrénées enneigées en toile de fond. L'après-midi, nous nous sommes rendus au jardin des plantes pour profiter du soleil dans un écrin de verdure.
